"... through Him we both (Jew and Gentile) have access by one Spirit to the Father," Ephesians 2'18. To all have received the Lord the Holy Spirit grants the most precious of things, access into the presence of God.

James knew this access well. With the attitude of children, coming to the Father, wanting His name to be hallowed, in the manner Jesus, the promise is sure:

"Draw near to God and He will draw near to you," James 4'8.

In this place of intimacy Believers can thank Him for His presence and authority.

And yet the wonderful truth is, when we were as far way as we could be God drew near to us first! It was then, in His mercy, He revealed our wayward disposition to our hearts.

It was then we called on Him to forgive us. He did! We said we wanted to receive Christ. And He came into us! Hallelujah!

"Koinonia" is a wonderful many-faceted time of thanking, praising, conversing, singing and praying. Whether personally, with a small group or in a larger gathering, fellowship can be a transforming experience.

"The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God,

and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen,"

2 Corinthians 13'14.

Prayer. Thank you, Father, for the wonderful privilege of fellowship together with you and with brothers and sisters in Christ.

And thank you too, Lord, in anticipation of the times of refreshing, restoration and transformation yet to come.

In Jesus' name. Amen.
