Although it was left standing physically, the Temple building of the Old Covenant was finished with. It was later destroyed physically in year 70 by the Romans army.

His New Covenant Kingdom Temple would be built with His own "living stones", the members of the household of God:

"Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God,

having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone,

in whom the whole building, being joined together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord,

in whom you also are being built together for a dwelling place of God in the Spirit," Ephesians 2'19-22.

Christ's People, are His "family" House. The inspired writer to the Hebrews (3'6) says:

"... Christ as a Son over His own house, whose house we are if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm to the end".

While being built together as God's Temple, a dwelling place for Him, the Called-Out Ones are also Christ's House.

In parallel to that Believers' houses provide an ideal setting. The domestic character of Kingdom House Gatherings makes them well positioned for all-round ministry.

Under the oversight of Kingdom Elders they would involve themselves in:

* considering the scriptures   * fellowship   * serving one another   * hospitality

* witnessing   * receiving anyone wanting to make a fresh start in life

* discipling/nurturing new and young Believers  * welcoming inquirers

* encouraging one another   * and more
