Kingdom Marriage 2 - Betrothed


"... a virgin betrothed to a man whose name was Joseph,"

Luke 1'27.


Being betrothed is presented in the New Testament is like being married.

Mary is declared as Joseph's wife in Matthew 1'20&24 and as his betrothed wife in Luke 2'5. Joseph is declared as Mary's husband in Matthew 1'19.

Nevertheless, they were yet to seal their betrothed marital state and yet to live together.

Hence in Kingdom Marriage a Betrothed Covenant marks the beginning of being married. The woman and the man covenant together before God in the presence of the Lord's People.
