Kingdom Meditation

"Meditate on these things"

Kingdom meditation is a powerful thing to do. From it come blessing, transformation, understanding and more.

However, it is not related to things like routines of being involved in sitting in silence, adopting particular body positions or movements, relaxing, clearing the mind, etc.

Anything that recommends concentrating on self, adopting certain body positions, etc, is not of God.

But Kingdom meditation does have to do with the person giving themselves to the "meditations" by being actively engaged in them.

"Meditation" has become a loaded word. It's presented as something that imparts power to cope with the demands of "modern" life.

However, demonic forces could trouble those who open themselves up to such "meditating".

However, Kingdom meditating is not only abundantly beneficial but safe!

Humanly speaking meditating is to think about something and to consider it deeply. But when Jesus touches it He converts it.

He said:

"The words that I speak to you are spirit and they are life," John 6'63.

Hear Him! - His Kingdom words are spirit and life.

The Godhead, Father, Son, Holy Spirit, are involved when Believers actively engage with the New Covenant Kingdom meditation that is according to the word of Christ.

To meditate, "let the word of Christ dwell in you richly" (Colossians 3'16).

As Brothers and Sisters in Christ, Saints want to prosper in spirit, soul, body. As part of the growth of the Lord's Body meditating nurtures us in every way.

Spiritual growth happens to the Believer who will "give yourself entirely" and those around will be encouraged and blessed.

Whatever our age, these words point out that personal growth results from Kingdom meditating:

"Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity.

Till I come, give attention to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine.

Do not neglect the gift that is in you, which was given to you by prophecy with the laying on of the hands of the eldership.

Meditate on these things; give yourself entirely to them, that your progress may be evident to all.

Take heed to yourself and to the doctrine," 1 Timothy 4'12-16.
