When Believers come together to pray as God's family it is to be in the Lord's manner. In this collective "secret place", each one prays on behalf of the family. The word of Christ refers often to God's People praying together.

Being in harmony with one another and being free from all unforgiveness is essential, as the Lord says:

“Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.

And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him, that your Father in heaven may also forgive you your trespasses," Mark 11'24-25.

And again,

“I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven.

“For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them,” Matthew 18'19-20.

And everyone agrees with the one who prays with a clear, "Amen".

Praying together is the praying of "us", "our" and "we". In God's Kingdom family, the words "I", "me", "my", "my God", etc, are out of harmony with His family praying. On the Day of Pentecost the Disciples gathered with "one accord", Acts 2'1.

He is our Father!

"These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication with the women and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with His brothers," Acts 1'14.
