Kingdom Sacrificing

Α-Ω

"... Christ also has loved us

and given Himself for us an offering

and a sacrifice to God," Ephesians 5'2.

Α-Ω

The New Covenant Kingdom of God is established on one sacrifice: the giving of Himself by the Lord. It is the only sacrifice that any human being can look to be saved.

Sacrifices are things done by one person at their cost for the pleasure or benefit of another.

The Lord led the way. He showed and taught that sacrifices include the offering of one's own self or some thing or things that belong to oneself, as Peter says:

"For to this you were called, because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that you should follow His steps," 1 Peter 2'21.

Christ's Called-Out People live in the centre of God's awesome love because Him.

Paul, one of the Lord's foremost disciples, talked gratefully of Jesus as "the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me," Galatians 2'20.

The apostle John expressed the grateful praise of all Believers for the eternal understandings they have that come from the Lord's sacrifice:

"To Him who loved us

and washed us from our sins in His own blood,

and has made us kings and priests to His God and Father,

to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever.

Amen." Revelation 1'5-6.
