"... through Him we both (Jew and Gentile) have access by one Spirit to the Father," Ephesians 2'18.

To all have received the Lord the Holy Spirit grants the most precious of things, access into the presence of God.

James knew this access well.

"... He gives more grace. Therefore He says: 'God resists the proud, But gives grace to the humble.'
Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.
Draw near to God and He will draw near to you," James 4'6-8.

The promise of fellowship is sure in spite of the devil's efforts. In this place of intimacy Believers can thank Him for His presence and authority.

But just think of it. When we were as far way as we could be, God drew near to us first! It was then, in His mercy, He revealed to us our sin and our need of salvation.

When we asked Him to forgive us. He did! When we asked Jesus to come into our hearts, He did. Hallelujah!

Fellowship is a wonderful time of thanking, praising, conversing, singing and praying.

Whether personally, with a small group or in a larger gathering, fellowship can be a a very uplifting experience.

"The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ,

and the love of God,

and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit

be with you all.

2 Corinthians 13'14.

Prayer. Thank you, Father, for the wonderful privilege of fellowshiping with you and with brothers and sisters in Christ.

And thank you too, Lord, in anticipation - of the times of refreshing, restoration and transformation yet to come.

In Jesus' name. Amen.
